Good suggestion ... thanks.
I did some testing with NA, and it is consistent with CT, so an external
switch would be valuable.

Now the next question ....
PTT works FB when I use the Function keys to send CW, but when
using the paddle, PTT is not asserted.   Is there a special command
to turn on PTT with paddle input?    I tried PTT and NOPTT but they
don't have any effect.
