[ct-user] CT 9.92.001 Slow down

I have noticed that the later versions of CTWin are slower also. My desktop
contest
computer is a 266 MHz Pentium, 256meg ram, Win98SE, and telnet spots. I
operate
with only CTWin running with the bandmap, country, packet, super check
partial,
and spot windows open. In the past, this computer has been more than
adequate to run CTWin.

When I spot a station, the spot window opens and I have to wait for the
characters to appear before hitting Return to send the spot out. Likewise,
the
super check partial has been slower in the later releases.

I welcome the stability and improvements in the latter versions of CTWin.
