Mark et al I just looked at my D: drive, with a file manager, and was
shocked at what I saw. The last time I used the D: drive was for last years
WPX contest, all the files are still there. Sometime between then and now
Microsoft, in its infinite wisdom, has installed a bunch of 'KRAP'. The D:
drive is a FAT32. I'm guessing it was probably during one of their many
updates. I do not use the automatic updates and there was never any mention
about installing stuff on all the drives. The only time I use the D: drive
is if I'm trying to be serious during a contest but I will use it this
weekend to see what effect all that Microsoft stuff has.

Hi Mal and everyone:
That works as well. You do need somewhere to store the log files,
though. This may be a FAT partition on a hard drive or, on some
computers, a USB key...
AFAIK, those instructions are still fine. If you have any questions,
drop me a line.
