[ct-user] Field Day Help

Hi Bob:

Be careful. CT2ADIF will accept a Version 9 database and create ADIF data with wrong frequency/band information. If you have a Version 9 database, run 9to10 first. I re-learn this every Field Day - our computers are running CT Version 9.

Mark

George

A Cabrillo File is not needed for Field Day.

But, if you need one for some other reason, do a CT2ADIF
on the .BIN file. Then, find a program on the Internet that
converts the ADIF to Cabrillo. There are several available.

BTW, last Fall there were SEC.DAT and FD.DAT files available
with the new ON Sections. I have them if you'd like them.

Hi All,

We used CT to log field day this year and after the contest did a
"WRITECAB" just to find in the text file that there was a message saying
Cabrillo Format not required for this contest.

Is there way I can force CT to do a WRITECAB or do I have to do a WRITELOG
and then do something else???

Thanks any help.

George  K8GG.

PS:  I did figure out how to delete the ON section and add ONE, ONN, ONS,
and GTA if it will help anyone.
