[Fourlanders] September Contest & Me

Sorry, I misunderstood. If you can get him to bring the trailer we will
figure out a place for him to camp. If he let's me use it for the 2 meter
station I will cover his share of the campground fee. If it is that large,
maybe we could operate both 144 and 222 MHz out of it. Anyway, talk to him
about it but keep in mind that we need a 100% commitment. Make sure he
understands this isn't field day were everyone stands around, drinks bear
and shoots the bull (well, we do some of that). He can't call up Friday
afternoon say his dog is sick and he can't make it leaving me with no place
to put my stuff. As you know, most folks aren't as serious about this as we
are so I just want to make sure he knows what to expect. Glad to hear you
will be in Shelby. Robin has got us some tables but I have no idea were
they are at. Keep an eye out for us. Look for the Southeastern VHF Society
and Fourlanders banners. We definately need to talk with you about food and
make plans for September.
