[Fourlanders] SOUND CARD

My son has the Audigy model in his computer and it is neat.  He jsut about
blows us out of the house when he plays his "techno" music whatever the hell
that is.  That is a good price. I think I paid at least a $100 for the
Audigy unit when I bought it a year or two ago.  The problem I have is that
my laptop doesn't have a USB port so I don't see how it would do me any
good.  I have seen gadgets for converting USB to RS-232 serial.  Does anyone
know of anything that will convert the serial port on a laptop to USB or
maybe a PCMCIA USB card?  Maybe I should just retire this laptop and get
something newer.  I hate to do that though it works great except for the no
USB problem and the price was right (free).
