[Fourlanders] Contest plans

There, see that wasn't so bad.  We already ferreted out some needs for
the 2m station.  Who has a good system, radio and amp, for Robin to make
a good showing on 2m?  Let's hear from everyone else with plans too.

I also have intercepted the plot hatching to have a recall vote for the
VP position.  You're going to have to suffer through it since you caused
it to happen in the first place!!!

Another fresh piece of news:  Our very good friend Jeff W0ONR who lives
here in Dahlonega and I used to help part time at ACS has delivered to
me today SIX Toshiba Satellite 2515CDS laptops.  These are very similar
to the one I use (a 2545CDS) that seems to work so well with the rigs,
WriteLog and keying lines.  They all have Win98, 64Mb Ram, CDROM,
Floppy, Serial, Parallel, USB, and Network cards.  Anyone who want to
use one for the contest, that's what they are here for.  I'll install my
copy of WL and check them for networking.  Let me know and you can
dedicate one of these to your station and not have to be swapping your
own laptop back and forth, etc.  You can have it all set up with sound
settings etc. and be ready for the contest.  I got my Soundblaster
Extigy box but haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
