[Fourlanders] June Contest and 222

Thanks Brian for adding KQ4TV to the reflector.

Good deal on the antennas! Even if the vertical elements don't work out I
assume they can be removed and you have a 222-5WL. At one time we had the
pieces for an H-frame for 222 but I don't know where it is at now. Maybe
K4EA's or K4SZ's place. I don't know what the stacking distance of those
antennas is but you could possibly use 2" plastic conduit as the mast. I
would probably use electrical conduit. It seems more rigid to me than drain
pipe.

Would a smaller rack help? I have a couple of "desktop" racks that have
approximatly 18" maybe more of vertical space in them. You would have to
add a handle on each side and something on the bottom to keep it from
sliding around on the table. If you want one just let me know and I will
donate it to the cause.

Bob is going to Dayton so you can probably forget about going to his place
on the 15th.

I may have a couple of 2.4 GHz "coffee can" antennas at the office we could
use if that would help. Let me know and I will check on their availability.
I have access to all kinds of 802.11 access points, bridges, client cards
(both laptop and desktop), etc. Some with internal antennas and some with
external antennas. Let me know what you are looking for and I will see what
I can come up with.
