Gang...

The only remaining items on my list have to do with antennas.
This weekend, I plan to finish the phasing harness and test both ants on
the rotating mast on the trailer. Other than that, everything else is
same as last year: 897 radio, Lunar amp etc. I have procured my own
hardline, so am not anticipating any issues about who needs which piece
of hardline. Am still working on Don Crain as 2nd op, but that is
anything but certain.
Am planning to bring same Toshiba laptop as last year with same version
of WriteLog that we used last year. If there is an update to be done, I
guess that will happen on the mountain.

For now, I am hoping that I will be allowed to operate once again from
the peace and quiet of Brian's most excellent trailer. If this doesn't
work out, then I'll be wherever there is space available. I would like
confirmation on this from someone. I am further assuming that power
distribution, regardless of source, will be similar to last year: large
line to the trailer; plug in to the power receptacles on the wall? Extra
lighting, fans etc. left to the individual. Sure hope that the generator
noise has been cured; it absolutely wiped out weak sigs last year.

I plan to leave Cumming sometime early Friday morning, using Kathie's
vehicle to pull my little trailer. I will have cell phone (770-312-1908)
and two meters in the car.

I would surely like to partake once again of the fine cuisine provided
by Paul. This would be fri, sat, sun. Must leave either after contest or
as Jim suggests, very early mon am.

Suggestions and comments are welcome.

PS If I am to be in Brian's home away from home, when are you arriving
Brian? Do you want to travel together?
