[Fourlanders] September contest / gas shortage

Gang,

 

High gas/diesel price certainly will make it more costly to do our mini
DXpedition to Milehigh campground However, the real concern is availability.
I have heard that several stations in the local area are out of gas.  I will
be going out tomorrow to do some errands and will check on the supplies.
Fortunately, I filled up last week and my tank and spare gas can are full.  

 

I am concerned that supply will be even more of a problem next weekend,
especially in the more remote areas such as where we are planning to go.   I
also think we should do our part and eliminate non-essential driving by
canceling our operation.

 

Please express your opinions.  I will go along with what ever consensus is
reached.
