I see that the 2m/440 FM station was taken care of before I even got
back to e-mail this evening. thanks to all of you for taking care of
that. The dual band vertical antenna is in the trailer and there are a
couple of TV mast sections in there also. I think there is a feedline
that we have been using also, but since Scott has one already packed, I
won't even have to double check.

I sent pix of 6m az-el antenna mast set-up to the band captains since I
can't send thru the reflector. It should work great.

I checked the air in the tires of all the trailers here today, greased
the winches on BlackHawk and exercised the corner jacks. Took stuff out
of Great White that we won't need and put in some stuff we will.

2m station has been checked out and ready to pack. Exercised both the
6m and 2m amps here before packing them up. The large dummy load will
be available in the trailer.

Was anyone planning on bringing an Astron 35? Just wondering if there
will be a spare or back=up available. Thanks.

Got word today that Kos will make it for the entire contest time as he
got his truck fixed. He and wife Sherry will drive up from Snellville
direct.

As of right now, we have 10 ops that will be there for the entire time
and 4 others coming to operate for some of the time, and maybe still a
couple of more that will come for shorter times. At least three new
folks coming this time: Randal N4AC, Tom KI4WOU and Skip K5AWC

Looking forward to a great weekend.

BTW, I forgot to mention in the last update that we do have a coffee pot
and plenty of regular coffee. If there are decaf drinkers, you need to
bring your own and a thermos to put it in after you make it in the Bunn
coffee maker. If any of you use sugar, bring that too as I don't
usually have any in my supplies. Jeff will be cooking of course, but if
anyone wants to use them, we will have a gas grill, microwave oven and
electric frying pan along with the coffee maker.

Be sure to bring a good cooler for your ice and beverages. We usually
get a re-supply run on Sunday as the ice doesn't usually last. there is
nothing at the campground in the way of food or drink available, no
drink or snack machines, etc.

73, Bob
