Well, it's only a month away so we had best get started preparing for
the contest.

Item 1: Let me know if you are planning to participate and what days
you are planning, i.e. full time, just one day, etc. I will put this
together and see how many ops and set-up folks we will have. One reason
for this is we already know that W4KXY will not be able to get there
until Saturday evening to operate and also will not be able to pull a
trailer up. Bill KI4US has found out that he will be able to be there
and not have to go on a business trip so that is good news too. If Bill
gets the transmission fixed maybe he will be able to pull a trailer too.
Skip K5AWC is heading back to TX this weekend so he won't be with us or
able to pull a trailer.

We have some other issues that will be revealed later, but first off we
need a head count of trailer pullers that are available. Please let me
know if you are coming and can pull a trailer so that I can figure out
if we have enough etc.

Item 2: Because Jim is not going to be 6m band captain, I will take
over that duty and am presently mulling over whether to even take the
microwave stuff for this contest. A lot will depend on the personnel
count and trailer pullers. I will let you know as this develops.

Item 3: Good news: Jeff is coming and doing the food again. We'll
make a call for numbers and times as we get nearer to the contest date.

Item 4: Ron has called for a workday and I'm all for that. The
weekends of the 22nd and 29th are the two possibilities. I would like
to make one request though and that is if we could have it here at my
QTH in case we need some help with getting some of the hardware together
for the contest also and loading the trailers. There is enough room
inside the new shack for some work to be going on there along with the
other work needed. Consider this proposal and let us know. Thanks.

When I get some responses, I'll get a list back out of ops, campers,
eaters, trailer pullers, set-up folks, designated nappers, etc. and we
can sort it out from there.

Thanks and 73, Bob
