[Fourlanders] Time server question

When we were using Win2K machines we were also using AboutTime. Do not
use that application. It does cause an intermmittant cascade of
constant time syncing that will freeze a network. I am not sure about
the registry settings though. I have seen too many NTP and NNTP
clients targeted for NT and Win2K. I have actually been steeling
myself to try using one on an Embedded NT installation on the pick and
place machines at work. Their time keeping is abyssmal. The MIS data
they generate is sometimes difficult to match when the clocks get so
far off.

Before sending this, I took a look and found the registry setting
information for Win2K.

See: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=223184

If you have any trouble getting there, I have printed it to PDF and
can email it.
