[Fourlanders] eQSL vs lotw?

I got the N3FJP logging program and entered 5 contacts yesterday. I also got
LoTW working yesterday and uploaded those 5 contacts; two 6M contacts
matched up. The N3FJP logging program makes the uploads to the LoTW seamless
once LoTW is setup, so I'll just upload everything from my log. 

As far as advantages of LoTW vs. eQSL, I figure I will have some HF
contacts, so I will use LoTW anyway. There are no additional clicks to send
the VHF contacts with the HF contacts. The other factor is that others will
upload VHF contacts to LoTW, so the confirmations are there, even if not
usable for awards right now. To me this electronic confirmation in-hand is
better than chasing after a QSL card that may never be sent, so I'll take it
in that format if I have to. I'll still send out and request cards, but
whenever the ARRL caves in and allows LoTW contacts to count for VHF awards,
they will already be uploaded and there won't be a scramble to upload
contacts at that point.

Looks like I'll be using both eQSL and LoTW for now.

not trying to open religous war, but would appreciate fact supported
opinions, please.

Do I want to sign up for eqsl and lotw or just eqsl?

besides the stupid security of lotw, what are the advantages/disadvantges
of lotw compared to eQSL?
