There isn't a 6 meter beacon in Atlanta/North Georgia that I am aware of.
Others on the list would know more about converting commercial radios to
beacons than I would.

What beacons are copiable 24 /7 from metro Atlanta ?..

I am interested in putting up a 6 meter beacon. A site is pretty much lined
up. Would appreciate some input on a good transmitter to use for low $$ but
reliable. GE or Motorola commercial radio that could be moded for cw would
be nice. I have a cw id board in my junk box. May also be interested in a 2
meter beacon but there maybe be a conflict on the site I have in mind.
