A couple of questions. Are we still using the same version of Writelog
(10.67B) that we have used for the past couple of years? It seems to work
well and I can see no reason to change but I thought that I would ask to
make sure. Are we going to do all 4 bands in great white? It makes things
kind of crowded but there are advantages to having all four bands in a
single trailer.

It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart
you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong.

Subject: [Fourlanders] contest update
Only a few more weeks and we'll be on the mountain again and looking
forward to a good time.
Everything seems to be coming together well. I will list what I know:
Band Captains: 6m W4ZST, 2m NN4W, 222 NX9O, 432 WW8RR
We have decided to just do limited as several folks want to get away
early on Monday morning and that will simplify take down.
Operators: Besides the band captains we have: W4ATL, W4KXY, W4SKI,
WG8S, N4NIA, KI4US, WE8W, K4VJM, K4TJD, K5ATC, W0ONR and N4AC have
notified me that they will be in attendance. I hope I haven't missed
anyone who responded. All are welcome.
Trailer pullers: Great White - NX9O, Generator - WW8RR, BlackHawk -
KI4US, Red Caboose - K4VJM, Little White - NN4W, WW8RR TT - N4NIA, W4KXY
TT - W4ZST. Kos and Ron can get together and work out the logistics on
getting Ron's trailer to Kos. Jim W4KXY will have to leave Sunday
morning for a business trip and either he or I will tow his TT up on
Friday and Randal will tow it back as it will be used for the Forsyth
Field Day set up.
Equipment: I think all the necessary borrowing of gear for the contest
has been arranged. Jim is bringing some of his stuff for us to use up
to my place before the contest and will help me take the 6m antennas
down and get that trailer ready. He will bring the 2m amp to me.
Campsites: Jim has reserved campsites as usual. We did miss out on the
last two on the left, but made up for them with others further down.
Food: Get your info to Jeff at jgrote0823 at gmail.com From the above
list of participants, if you will be there for all meals then he can
easily count that. If you will be there for less than the entire time,
let him know what meals you will be there for.
Fuel: Paul, if you will, please scout out the off-road diesel situation
for us a day or two before we leave on Friday June 11, so the guys will
know where to stop to fill the generator. Thanks.
If I've forgotten anything, someone let me know and we will get out
another update.
73, Bob
