Shelby Hamfest, ain't nothing like it!  More than just a hamfest, it is a celebration, a gathering, a big party.  

So let's all bring our gear and have some Microwave fun.
Man, I could use the encouragement, and most of all the education.  Nothing like learning from the guys who have done microwave for years.  Hanging around Dex is a education in inself, did I tell you he is one of my favorite people?  

I have dusted off my 10 ghz whitebox and tested the receive
and it still works,  Relays switching, voltages there.....so I just need someone to work to test out the transmit.  It would be great if there was a power meter available to see how many mw there are to antenna.  I am looking to buy one at shelby, anyone have a extra available? 
 I have both a horn and the nice 2 foot Kruth dish.  So Dex, please bring your gear!

5.7 Ghz, is receiving very well, seems to be quite a hot little
receiver with preamp installed, and thanks to the hard work of K4TO now I can run the amp off of 12v,  A nice package,
I just need someone to work!  Only made a few contacts on this band and that was at 10mw to Dexter and Bunky.  So you guys, bring your gear and lets get ready for the contest and then you can work me.  

Saturday I plan on visiting with Dexter, maybe eating some of that wonderful barbeque and play some microwave.  I hope Dex does not get hauled off the jail for suspicious activity!
