[Fourlanders] callsign update

Good morning, everybody! 

Among our group here in Huntsville we have a VE, Joe. He was on the air yesterday morning, as was Bill, WA4AFN. 

Joe told Bill that as a VE one of things he did was check callsigns so that his friends licenses did not expire. Joe told Bill that his check of WA4AFN revealed there was no license holder. Bill assured Joe he had a license. Joe's reply was to give his e-mail address to Bill, and for Bill to send what info he had about his license. Joe would be glad to help Bill sort it out, and to help him take the steps to be legal if need be. 

Bill was not upset, but he was uncomfortable. 

So..... we'll see what happens! If more unfolds, I'll let you know.
