A big thanks to Bob for pulling this together and doing the work to make the trailer contest ready. It is as much and more deluxe than Bob describes it. We used it for both 6 meters and cooking in September. There was more than enough room for both activities with more than ample space, lighting and AC power thanks to Bobs work. Johnny and I even helped Bob with the cooking a couple of times when 6 was dead.

I had put a military mast on it for him several years ago and asked him to let the FourLanders know if he decided to sell it and he did. The trailer did include the 10m military mast mounted on the tongue. I called for donations from the membership and you all came through with enough to do the job. Thanks to all of our members who donated money toward this project.

We did sell the rotator that came with the trailer. Your member donations came to $3000 and with the proceeds from the rotator and another $109 from the treasury, the job has been completed. We used the trailer for the first time for the September contest on the mountain-top and it was just great. Plenty of room for the 6m station and operators and plenty of room for the cook and the food storage and preparation. Kos donated the counter tops I used to make the tables and also a built-in type microwave oven that I installed in the front shelves of the trailer that keeps me from having to carry the one out of the shack to take to the mountain.
