[Fourlanders] WL problem

One thing Ron didn't mention directly was another test we ran on Sunday.  My contest computer (XP, Dell Optiplex) had not been on since I used it for the sprints in September.  I turned off updates immediately and it works just fine on the 6m station.  Of course, it still has WL10.67 on it too.  Jim's contesting computer, which also hadn't been used in a long time, but was allowed to Windows Update last weekend and then I installed WL 11.11 on it, does the same as Ron's problem.  Everything works OK except you can't record a new wave file.

Brian, What was your experience last weekend with your computer?  I wasn't paying attention when you were setting up and testing your station.
