Hello everyone. WriteLog has a good packet cluster capability integrated in. I am not the expert on setting it up but Sherman, W4ATL knows how to do it. This packet cluster thing isn't new for six. We have been monitoring packet cluster looking for band openings for years. Especially in June. I remember one year that young Jim caught a great opening to South America and worked a bunch of stations on CW. Not sure what effect this will have on the higher bands but everyone should have WriteLog setup to monitor packet cluster. Maybe Sherman can give us a tutorial before the June test.

Alternately, we could make it one persons job, especially during busy times, to watch for spots and then pass it along via the "chat" function on Writelog. It will clearly I think be of more help to those playing Search and Pounce than those who are Running.
