[HOOPER] James Monroe Hooper b. 14 Dec 1818/Wife Susan

Can  anyone help me with James Monroe Hooper b. 14 Dec 1818 and wife
Susan 21 in Census of 1850 Shelby County, Texas?  If she died according
to some acounts in 1868 she never had children after 1857 (at age 28)
which would be unusual in those times. Can anyone tell me anything about
the children of James Monroe Hooper and Susan; is it possible that she
and her child, Josephine did not survive in 1857?

Also, according to some accounts James Monroe Hooper married  (2) Louisa
Franklin Reeves three years before Susan died.  Thanks for your help.
