Yesterday, a couple people were asking about other HOOPER mailing
lists.  I tried to send this message, but it was one of those that
didn't go through, so I'm trying to send it again.  Clay

There are two other general HOOPER mailing lists that people frequent.
They are the HOOPER-TENNESSEE List and the HOOPER List, both supported
by Rootsweb.  There is also a list for the Obediah Hooper branch, but I
don't use that one since I'm not descended from them, so I don't know
their email address, but if you're interested in joining that list,
someone from one of the other two lists can assist you with getting in
touch with them.

To subscribe to the two other lists I've mentioned, send an individual
email with the Subject line blank to both of them.  In the Body of the
message type in only "subscribe" (without the quote marks).  If you did
it right, you'll get back and automated reply with the rules and
regulations of each list.

There are always lulls in any list, but both of those lists are just as
active as the hooper@contesting list is from time to time.  Some of the
same people use all 3 lists and there are some people that are loyal to
only one, so it pays to subscribe to all the lists even if that means
getting duplicate mail from time to time.
