Greetings friends and kin,
The Hooper DNA project continues grow day by day. The project is helping to
untangle lines, unravel mysteries and provide new avenues for research.
We now have more than 40 participants with 30 results returned and posted.
The posted results represent eight different Hooper lineages. Be sure and
visit the results page at : http://www.hooperconnections.com/dnatable.html
You'll notice that we have a new web address. Be sure and reset your
bookmarks to the new main page at: http://www.hooperconnections.com
One of the recent people to sign up for the project is the first person we've
found with solid genealogical ties to Europe. He traces his ancestry to
Hoopers in Somersetshire, England. We're very excited about this development.
We hope that others with ties to ancestral Hooper villages will volunteer to
join our little group. Though the testing company we are using is in the
United States, Hoopers from anywhere in the world are eagerly sought.
We have also set up a funding project. We hope to be able to pay the way for
Hoopers from unrepresented or underrepresented lines for which no volunteer
participants can be found. For more information visit the funding page at:

The Hooper DNA project is now six months old. We've learned so much about our
ancestors and ourselves. The months and years to come will be just as
exciting.
Take care,
Wade Glascock
