[Hooper] Elinder HOOPER McClure b.1825

I picked up somewhere in my years of research
that my gggrandfather William McCLURE was born in Haywood NC. But
unfortunately I have no proof.  He m. Elinder HOOPER b.1825, this proven by
Pension papers of his daughter Elizabeth Jane b.1848 Union co. Ga. who m.
Elisha Hedden NELSON. They all later lived in Cherokee NC in the Beaverdam
area.
I am  at a loss for the parents of Elinder HOOPER. Will be very grateful
