[Hooper] Hooper-May Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas

We have formed Hooper-May Cemetery Preservation Association to 
rehabilitate and preserve the Cemetery in Shelby County, Texas.  This 
Cemetery was established on land donated by John May 1797-1870 and many 
of his family are interred there.  Richard Hooper 1783-1855 and many of 
his descendants connected to the May family are also interred there.  
We plan to have this Cemetery designated as a Historic Texas Cemetery 
and are currently accepting donations for the rehabilitation and 
perpetual maintenance of the Cemetery.

Our association now has a checking account and we are ready to receive 
contributions.  Checks may be made payable to 'Hooper-May Cemetery 
Preservation Association' and mailed to Joe A King, 2705 Cuba Blvd,
