     Hello Everyone:

     I recieved an E-mail from the sponsor of this SAR Hooper grave marker.

     I asked him if this James Hooper was from Lunenberg County VA and he replied:

     "The one & the same! Born 10/25/1746 and enlisted in 1778 in Lunenberg County, VA & served 12 months as a Private, 6th Regiment of the VA Continental Line."
