 From Anne Goodwin:

Exciting news! A bunch of us Hooper researchers have A LOT of new
relatives for this holiday season!

Recently completed Y-DNA testing proves Absalom Hooper (the pioneer of
middle Tennessee) is of same lineage as are James Hooper (Indian
fighter) and Absalom Hooper (the Revolutionary War soldier for South
Carolina and Georgia).

Clay Hooper will post the results from a 25-marker test for participant
John Hooper in the DNA table [Table 1] at his website
http://www.hooperconnections.com/dnatable.html

These results are a perfect match with what we've determined - via
multiple testing of male descendants - must be the prototypical pattern
for the James/Jesse/Absalom and his brother Clemmons/younger Andrew and
younger Absalom Hooper lines.

This information is very suggestive that all of the men named Absalom or
Absolom or Absolam or Absolem Hooper and born in the southern US before
1850 were blood relatives. The DNA from this most recent participant
John Hooper represents the y-DNA from the earliest of the now known
Absaloms.

Many thanks to the Hooper DNA group for allowing me to make this
announcement.
Anne Goodwin
