[Hooper] Information on Hedley Morgan Hooper

Dear Morgan,
                      Have only jjust picked up your message on the Hooper 
archive thing.  I am  your uncle; your mother's brother. I spoke to your 
mother a few days ago and she  is in great shape for 84 years of age !! Hedley 
was my father and your  grandfaher (Mary Elizabeth's father) I have been 
trying to trace the family back  for years but got stuck in about 1720 when the 
first entries for Huyper or  Hooper occurred in the Hilperton Wilts parish 
registers.  There were no  Hoopers or Huypers before then and I think that 
they Huypers (Hoopers) must have  been refugees from the Lowlnads after the 
abrogation of the Treaty of  Nantes.  Saw Davide and Amanda last June when 
they came to our party.   Mum was going to attend but had to cry off at the 
last minute but it was great  to see Davide.   Yours John
