The picture of Erick Schlang (KC7RPA) on the cover of June 1998 QST is a
good one.  I did not realize that Erick is just fifteen years old!  He
looks much older to me.  He will not be sixteen until the middle of
August.  I wonder how he trained his dog to stay in that hammock?

Well, I guess QST does put young people on the cover occasionally.
Previous to Erick, who was the last teenager on the cover of QST?  When
is the last time a young teen or pre-teen lady was on the cover of QST?
