[kids] Kids Day at Kilo One India Romeo!

We had a great time in Kids' Day, too. My son Sander (10), his friend Ben (10), 
and my daughter Shari (6)   were able to put in a couple of hours. Most of 
their time was spent ragchewing with young and older hams across the country. 
The age range of those we contacted was from 3 to 79. Sander was thrilled when 
DX station XE2/AA7YY came back to his CQ! Has the bug bitten? We shall see!

It was a pleasure to also watch the Kids' Day coverage on the NBC Nightly News 
on Saturday evening. We saw shots of K7RAT, Tree Tyree and others. Amateur 
Radio was portrayed in a very positive light.
