[Kids] 2m IRLP OK for Kids Day ?

Dear Kids Day list,

Asked locally, and there was some confusion, so asking here - anyone
considered use of IRLP on Kids Day ?  

We're planning on using local repeaters and perhaps HF DX if we can get our
station back on the air (recent ice storm wreaked havoc on folks like me with
wire antennae in trees).  

Considering alternatives, and IRLP seems a good one.  Comments ?
