Kit and NCCC ... Eric just explained what happened with ZF2NT so I won't rehash that. But what about that other one ... the P4OL he also mentioned? Is that "P four zero L" or "P four oh L"? Folks frequently screw up typing the numeral "zero" and the letter "oh", so that's why using a slashed zero font becomes a valuable tool. This error, too, often will cause a station you've already worked to show up as a needed packet spot. When the ARRL released the 2003 SS UBN reports, I was stunned by the number of folks who lost QSOs with me because they'd logged my callsign as "W six zero AT". The moral is clear: get a slashed-zero font for your logging program. If you don't know how to get that font for your particular logging program, just ask here on the NCCC reflector. Our club is blessed with having gurus for almost every logging program ever written, and somebody is almost certain to know exactly what you need to do to get the right one for your particular program.
