It's also the keyer part showing up in the "full featured"
rig interface boxes, such as the microham keyer and rigexpert plus.

WL and other programs have almost got the interface to Winkey
right.

I had mentioned this to the gang at K6AO for FD and they hadn't heard of it, so I am throwing this out to everyone.

The keyer is called Winkey, it is PIC-based and runs off a regular serial port with no critical timing. I just put one together and
it appears to work as advertised.

If you have been frustrated by timing issues with parallel or serial port keying, this may be a way to go.
