Should we consider a different time/place for our Joint Meeting of the Mother Lode DX/Contest Club and the Northern California Contest Club?  

For at least the past two years, the meetings have been on the hottest days of the year. This year was no exception. As we drove away from the Senior Center about 4 PM, we got a reading of 111. The temps in the kitchen were quite warm.

How much did the price of gasoline influence attendance/non-attendance?? Our local stations are about $3.16-3.25/gal. for regular unleaded. In Jackson, Martell & Sutter Creek, gas was $3.30/gal. at most stations. 

Any suggestions/ideas??
