Update on our Honda EU-2000i Purchase:

Notes:
1.  Our supplier, Steady Power from Grand Rapids, MI, will be sending  
the CA model to all CA addresses.
2.  If you live outside of CA (e.g., WA, NV, OR, etc.), you can still  
take advantage of this purchase.  They will ship the Non-CA model  
directly to your home.  Same price = $860 includes Fedex Ground  
shipping.
3.  Honda EU-2000i specs -- quiet (53-59 dB); lightweight at 47 lbs;  
2000 watts (16.7 amps) of 120 VAC; 15 Hrs on 1 gal. fuel in economy  
mode (4 hours in full load mode); link 2 units in parallel for more  
power if needed; clean sine wave output for computers and other  
sensitive equipment.

OK-- we're on a roll.  The response has been impressive.  Here's the

Comment:  We're approaching 20 units on this order.  That's about  
$17,000.  To set your mind at ease, I've been on the phone with the  
owner of Steady Power, Steve Coffman several times.  Steady Power is a  
division of Coffman Electrical Equipment. Co., which has been in

They are a GSA contractor and supplier to the Federal Govt. for a  
variety of generators and related power equipment.  I believe them to  
be a reputable and reliable organization.  I'm copying Steve Coffman
