[Mldxcc] ARRL RTTY Roundup: 71 Logs And Counting!

Well, this Club never ceases to amaze me. We set a goal of 51 logs
and 2.3M points on our website. Being more than curious to see how we
did, I put together this quick summary by:

1. Recording the reported scores on the reflector in a spreadsheet
2. Comparing my RTTY Roundup log to the NCCC roster to find other
KBers in the contest

The results: 71 Logs and a total of 2,471,215 points as of 12:30 AM
Monday morning (5-Jan). But that claimed score does not include logs
marked with an (*) where scores have not yet been reported. It
wouldn't surprise me if we hit 3.0 Million points by the time we're
done.

I don't know if PVRC geared up for this one, but even if they did, I'm
sure we're giving them a run for the 2009 ARRL RTTY Roundup Unlimited
Club Competition Trophy. And although we can't count his log for the
competition, what another incredible performance by Ed (W0YK/P49X) in
Aruba. Over 3200 QSOs, 67 countries, and a 400K claimed score.

OK, so after all your hard work this weekend, won't you be excited to
see your log in the ARRL Logs Received section? As Jim (K9YC)
mentioned, the deadline is 2359 UTC Monday, 2-February at 4 PM PST).
Email address: RTTYRU at arrl.org
And don't forget to include CLUB: Northern California Contest Club in
the header of your Cabrillo file.
We'll be watching for it. :-)

All I can say is -- AWESOME job guys. A great way to start out the
2009 Contesting Year. And the best part: for many KBers this was
their First RTTY Contest -- it only gets better from here.

73, John K6MM
