W6KUT, Edwin A. Andress, of Poway, California passed away yesterday
around noon local time.  He was 90.  Ed had 335/386 (current/total)
countries confirmed at the ARRL DXCC Desk.  He was a member of the San
Diego DX Club and "sharp as a tack" reports K6NA, Glenn Rattmann.
Ed's son is K7NV, Kurt Andress.  "Uncle Ed" was a giant in the world
of DXing, recalls W6YOO, Harry.  "Always the last one standing at the
Visalia Saturday night banquet as the MC called out the number on
confirmations: 382, 393, 384", said Harry.  W6YOO will miss his friend
Ed and his stories which he told in past years while driving to
Visalia.
