I always appreciated that Gary would take the time to work me in whatever contest I was in. During these brief contacts, he would always praise me for my effort and encourage me. I'll really miss that.

Sorry to hear of Gary's passing, he will be missed.  I am glad I was able to be present when he gave his talk about the QSL Bureau at the meeting some months ago.  He is now free from is oxygen tank an enjoying himself upstairs.
