Well, after listening to the kvetching from the other group, I felt I
had to improve on my last few outings and was able to triple last years score.

A pox on PG&E for a thousand generations for the power line noise
they create! The 60KV line from West Point to Valley Springs was
abysmal! I could run for a while and then S7 noise would return,
killing the run. It was on and off all weekend, then a thunderstorm
came through Sunday night and washed all the hardware on the poles,
Monday, the bands were as quiet as a church mouse. Story of my life,
day late and a dollar short. Thank God for the K9AY I used on 80 to
eliminate the noise.

I REALLY have to get a good antenna up for 40 - I need one of N6JV's
rotatable dipoles! That will be the next project.

Was also trying to finish 6BWAS via LOTW, need ME on 40 & ID on 10 -
no joy with that. Heard nothing on 10, not even WC6H or N6O. (and
WOW, Rich, you were LOUD here!) Worked lots of SDIE stations with big
#'s and a great turnout by the CCO guys as usual!

A very enjoyable 10.5 hours on the air, the most time I have put in
for years. Lots of fun, thanks to the NCCC volunteers who put such a
great party together. CU next year!

73,

Rick, W6RKC
