Hey there, MLDXCC'ers,

This weekend is the ARRL Sweepstakes CW weekend.

Sweepstakes is a major NCCC focus contest and one that I encourage our members to support.  NCCC wants to win this one and I want the Big Club to see what MLDXCC is made of.  Let's show the Big Club that we can kick some serious butt!

And speaking of KB'ing, who's going to KB who in our club?  Will W1SRD take over the crown from WC6H as the highest scoring member in MLDXCC?  I know Steve wants that bad!  Or, will I just come out from the center of the pack and KB both Steve and Rich?  Watch out guys!  Oh, and last year K6LRN scored big too.  Maybe Dick will take over the crown?

We'll see.

Again, however, as with what makes the difference with us in CQP, NCCC needs logs.  Small logs and large logs.  All of those logs with 50, 100, 200, etc. Q's makes a difference and our club knows how to do it right.

So, let's all try to make some points for the big club this weekend for CW.  If you don't do CW, the Phone Sweepstakes is two weekends after CW, and we have lots of phone operators.  NCCC has historically beat PVRC in CW but often falls down when it comes to the SSB half of the contest.  Our phone operators can make the difference this year for NCCC.
