Hi Emi,
You pose a good question.  Some contests organizers recognize the name one way and some another way.  In the case of the ARRL, it should be Mother Lode DX/Contest Club.  I verified by going to this link:
http://www.arrl.org/contest-club-list

I usually to to the contest organizer to verify how they have our club listed.  We should probably put up something on the website.  For most contests, it's Mother Lode DX/Contest Club, but not for all.
I remember submitting as Mother Load.  Gosh, did I hear about that, and that was in my first year as Prez!

I had a computer crash and couldn't get on the air until Saturday Morning,
but I did better than I expected!  This was my first attempt at working
Mixed and Assisted.  I am not sure Assisted helped very much.

I assume this is logged as MOTHERLOAD DX/CONTEST CLUB - but my question is,
is there a space betwwwn DX and / and another between / and CONTEST?
