Contest Club California Peninsula (CCCP) is supporting a friendly contest-wthin-a-contest for this upcoming weekends 2014 running of the CQ WPX CW contest and challenges MLDXCC, NCCC and REDXA to participate!

To take part, you must post your scores electronically using the latest versions of either N1MM or Writelog – at present these are the loggers for which we have support.

You can find detailed instructions how to configure your logger and take part in the following PDF file:

To level the playing field, the top 10 scores from each club will be totaled and represent the contributed score for each club.

During the contest, you can display the results page using the link:

This is also shown in the PDF with added instructions to personalize your score in the displayed page and also display your own CLUB scores first in the list.

This page is set to automatically refresh every 2 minutes so you can see how individual scores are progressing throughout the contest.  To avoid disclosing individual strategies, only the total number of QSOs, multipliers and final score are shown.

We hope you will take part and experience the added motivation we have found from using live score posting!  It even creates a contest-within-a-contest-within-a-contest as individual stations pick their own “must beat” competitor!

Participation in this event is independent of whichever club you may wish to support when submitting your scores to the WPX contest organizers.
