[Mldxcc] Rotor Stuck - Advice Needed

1.  Possible bad capacitor.  Test with multimeter
having C measurement capability and/or try
replacing it.  Let's hope this is the problem
so you can fix it on the ground.

2.  Possibly brake is stuck in the engaged
position.  Can you here the brake making its
usual loud noise?  If the brake is stuck,
try pulsing the brake with a higher than normal
AC voltage like 36V.  Only put the higher
voltage on the brake, not also on the motor.
You can use a variac to make the voltage.

3.  Measure the motor current.  Too low
or too high might mean something.

4.  Are the gears stripped, and it freewheels
in the wind?  No recent high winds, so this
is probably not it.

5.  Doesn't help now, but in the future, you
should always park the rotor at the service
azimuth (whatever it is in your case) when going QRT.
