[Mldxcc] [NCCC] The case against the revised Amateur Radio Parity Act

Thanks Bob. I continue to be baffled why the ARRL insists on defending their position. This is a case where something is indeed worse than nothing.

The bill is sitting in committee and given everything else going on it seems doubtful to make the priority list this session.

That said, the ARRL leadership needs to reconsider and stop making this call to action.

How do we as concerned ARRL members (with many very influential members in the community) get the attention of the League leadership?

Communicating through FAQ’s just doesn’t cut it IMO.

Today, ARRL Volunteer Counsel K1VR published a Word document in response to Chris Imlay's FAQ regarding the Parity Act. I converted it to PDF format and posted a copy on my web site. The short URL is:

Feel free to share this link, which will redirect to my web site and download a PDF version of Fred's response document named Just_Say_No_to_S.1534_v4.pdf, title:

"Just Say No to H.R. 555/S.1534"

Today - ARRL posted a FAQs page (actually five pages) addressing the issues noted in this message exchange. It's a good read and seems to provide reasonable explanations of the issues brought forward with this legislation. The FAQs were prepared by ARRL attorney Chris Imlay. Curious what others think.
