In the interest of precision:

Bob Vallio, W6RGG and our Pacific Division Director voted in favor of
the *ARRL Policy on Board Governance and Conduct of Members of the Board
of Directors and Vice Director
<http://www.arrl.org/files/file/ODV/ARRL%20Code%20of%20Conduct.pdf>*which
included Section 8 mandating Board member secrecy and support for all
Board actions notwithstanding personal views or opposition.  Provisions
of Section 8 formed the basis for the censure of Dick Norton, N6AA and
the Southwestern Division Director, in a special telephone meeting of
the Board this last fall.  W6RGG abstained from the vote in that meeting.

Could be done. Probably not time yet to actually do it…. but probably it is time to be lining up the players. Newington needs to believe to believe that a credible alternative organization is a distinct possibility. The best way to get them to believe it is for it to be 100% true.
