As K6GHA noted, this contest does not necessarily favor the west coast, but
if you put in the butt-time you can still make a decent score by working
JAs at every opportunity to maximize 3 point Qs and getting those call area
multipliers. In the process you'll also snag any available VK mults. (If
anything, this format seems to favor Eastern Europe...)

I also did a lot of soliciting band changes to my second radio to help with
the rate, which needs all the help it can get - I was a little surprised at
how successful I was, especially with the JAs. The lower rate also allowed
for some good practice in using the sub receiver to find in-band mults. And
keeping an eye on 10 paid off with an extra handful of multipliers. You
