Hey All you DX'ers and Contesting Fiends!

Huge congrats to everyone for placing *2nd IN THE UNITED STATES* for the DX
Marathon!

Funny thing is, I didn't even know that was a thing... Dennis explained it
to me, and now I will be cruising the FT8 bands for all sorts of points to
go towards 1st place next year!!

On another note, I will be stuck in Mountain View all day on the 27th and
28th with work. So please, please please Pre Pay for your catered lunch.
That way you just have to show up, hang out, talk about how we are going to
win CQP next year, and eat some great food. And you won't have to deal with
someone who may not be fully mentally prepared to do any math and money
collections at the meeting.

By far the easiest way to do it, is to go through paypal and select "Send
Money To Friends or Family" and then put in "MotherLodeClub at gmail.com" as
the email. This way no one gets hit with any fees.

It is $17.00 per person. When you pay, put in the notes "Chicken" or
"Steak".

We should already have those preferences for everyone that has RSVP'd so
far, but it will help us to cross check the meals and make sure we have the
correct amounts of each ordered.

We are also having a RAFFLE!!! So please bring some donations! The raffles
we have started are 100% donation driven, and the funds go 100% towards
making our in club awards bigger and better. You can bring ANYTHING for it.
Some of the most popular items tend to be Vina's brownies and baked goods.
But, useful radio equipment is usually appreciated as well ;)

Bring on the good times! Someone win Vina's brownies and mail them to me!!!
