[NCC] NCC Stuff #7

Hello to all,

Just finished a great weekend of radio related activities.  W8AV hosted the 
annual "Gooseapalooza" burger fest at his Wooster home this past Saturday.  A 
good time was had by all.  Although this is primarily a MRRC activity, eight 
NCC members were in attendance to join in the fun.  NCCer's making the trek 
to Goose's were K8AZ, K8MR, W8CAR, WB8K, W8BIN, W3IQ, N3SD and K8NZ.

Sunday found many of the same suspects making an appearance at the Warren 
Hamfest.  In addition to the above listed group (yup, all 8 managed to 
recover from Saturday's festivities to drive to Warren), K8CX, N8TR, W8KEN, 
ND8L and W8VE all stopped by the AZ/NZ flea market spot.  Congrats are in 
order to K8MR who won the annual Warren "Callsign blast" put together by 
K8CX.

This coming weekend promises to be another good one as the annual Ohio QSO 
Party has another run on Saturday.  Noon till midnight is a great time frame 
and the simple serial # /county (or State) exchange makes for fun format.  
Many NCCer's are planning an effort so don't forget to get on and send in 
your log to W8AV.  Hopefully the bands will cooperate and make it a lively 
event.

September is just around the corner and that means CQWW is not far away.  
September is also the time for Sprints and WAE SSB.  Can we put TWO Sprint 
teams on the air?  Let's start the new season with a bang.

So what antenna projects have been completed or are still being worked on?
