Tom,

Thanks for the update on Val.  We have hesitated in rrying to contact him by any mode as we know that rest and getting better from his surgury is most important.  

BTW, He gives me much more credit for placement in the CQ DX Marathon than I deserve.  I believe that I came in 10th overall in the Hi-power catagory and the 2nd place might be my placement in the state of Ohio.
